This site today
- The pages load nothing from anyone else: no analytics, no ad scripts, no fonts or images from other sites.
- The site is behind a password for now. Entering it sets one cookie in your browser that remembers you did. It is not used for anything else, and the site sets no other cookie.
- The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page. We do not run our own tracking on top.
- We collect no email addresses, names or forms. There is nothing to sign up for.
The product, once it exists
Nothing below works yet. It is what Covert is designed to do.
- Your vault holds your data. Balances, rules, approvals, history and pay-code traffic live in the vault on your machine and on your phone, not on our servers.
- Our server passes sealed messages. Between the vault and the phone, and between agents' pay codes, it carries ciphertext. It can see mailbox ids, message sizes and timing. It cannot read the contents.
- Tab vouchers do not touch our servers. They go straight between the two agents.
- The relayer sees what it submits. Private transactions pass through it so your wallet does not appear on chain. It sees the transaction and the request that carried it.
- Screening sees deposits. Deposits into the private set are checked against sanctions lists and an on-chain origin check, and a reason is published for every exclusion.
- Inference. The credit gateway sees the prompt. It cannot tie the prompt to the wallet that paid for the credits.
What the chain shows
Blockchains are public and permanent. Deposits, and the amounts and times of private actions, are visible to everyone, forever. See what is public. Privacy here means hiding among the other approved deposits in a pool. A quote shows the live set size beside every private action, so you always know how many you are hiding among.
