Covert Install Live

What works, and what doesn't.

Every piece of Covert is listed here with where it stands. A piece is marked live when it works for a stranger, and not before.

Live. Every piece marked live passed its tests on mainnet with real money. The pieces under Coming later are not available yet.

The wallet

  • Shielded balances

ETH, USDG, SPY, NVDA, QQQ and TSLA held in shielded pools on Robinhood Chain, one pool per asset.

    Live
  • The vault

A background service on your machine, under its own user, that holds the seed and checks every action against your rules.

    Live
  • Agent keys and sub-agents

Revocable tokens, one per agent, each tied to one sub-balance and one set of rules. Sub-agents get budgets carved from their parent.

    Live
  • Rules and hard ceilings

Per-agent assets, caps, payee lists and approval lines, inside hard ceilings that change at the machine and nowhere else.

    Live
  • Agent interface

Intents, quotes, jobs, safe retries and structured errors, over an MCP server, an HTTP API and a command line.

    Live

Agent payments

  • Private swaps

Swaps between the six assets, with the amount, time and assets public and the swapper not.

    Live
  • Private pay

Payments from a shielded balance to any address. The recipient and amount are public; the payer is not.

    Live
  • Pay codes

A reusable public string an agent can post anywhere. It holds no address; each payment uses fresh details.

    Live
  • Transfers

A single payment from one Covert wallet to another through a pay code.

    Live
  • Tabs

Shielded payment channels: thousands of signed vouchers off chain, two transactions on chain.

    Live
  • x402 tabs and seller middleware

A payment scheme for HTTP APIs that answer 402 with a price and a pay code, and middleware that checks vouchers.

    Live

Coming later

  • Phone app: approvals and freeze

A control panel on your phone for approving what crosses your line and freezing agents. No send screens.

    Coming later
  • Sandbox

The whole stack against a local copy of the chain with play money, for testing without risk.

    Coming later
  • Invoices

Anyone pays from any wallet straight into an agent's shielded balance.

    Coming later
  • Rooms

A fresh address, funded privately, for apps that have to be public. Swept back when the job is done.

    Coming later
  • Private inference

Model credits bought from the shielded balance and served through a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

    Coming later
  • Statements

A tax ledger export, and source-of-funds statements for a single counterparty.

    Coming later
  • SDKs and framework tools

TypeScript and Python SDKs, and tools for the Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, CrewAI and ElizaOS.

What this page does not show

No live chain data. There is no deployment, so there are no contract addresses, pool sizes, set sizes or volumes to read. A privacy claim is worth little without the live set size beside it, so the app will show it, and this page will link to it when it exists.

This page, every other page, and llms.txt are produced from one file, so they cannot disagree about what is live.
